About The Album

Released in 1979, The Wall is regarded by most fans and critics alike as “The Ultimate Concept Album” of all time with World-wide sales reaching a staggering 30 million copies.

The Roger Waters masterpiece was so successful that it spawned a full movie release of the same title in 1982 starring Boomtown Rats frontman Bob Geldof as “Pink”.

The album includes many Pink Floyd classics which became the backbone to their breath-taking live shows including Another Brick in the Wall, Run Like Hell and of course the iconic Comfortably Numb.

Following the amazingly successful tour the band had with the album, Waters took the album out by himself and it was the highest grossing tour ever by a single artist
